My 1956 Ford pickup that we used to travel in cross country in 1985. This was my second 56 Ford truck. This is the way I bought it, no camper on it yet.
This was my first 1956 Ford pickup. Only had it for a few years when some guy ran through the intersection and hit me head on and totaled the truck. I had it painted not too long before the accident and had it looking and running good. We would take it on deer hunting trips once I found a camper for it. This picture was taken at Fisherman’s Camp in the Cleveland Forest
This was Carol’s 1955 Chevrolet. My cousin Silvia’s husband, Felix, painted the car for us. I found original whitewall tires for it and had the upholstery done. Bought it for about $500 at that time, but it was a rust bucket as the previous owner only used it to get to work near Seal Beach.
